Narhman Recreational Park

Mini Recreational Park in Haatso,  Accra

Our client sought to develop a recreational park in Accra to meet the leisure needs of local residents. A key feature of the brief was a mini golf course, around which the rest of the facility was designed.

To make the most of the available land, we expanded the brief to include a basketball court and a volleyball court, efficiently utilising the remaining space while enriching the recreational offerings. To enhance the overall experience, we incorporated an artificial stream within the landscape design, creating a calming and engaging atmosphere through the soothing sound of flowing water.

Given the site’s limited size, we adopted a multi-storey design approach, allowing us to house key amenities—including a restaurant, lounge, open terrace sitting area, and supporting ancillary facilities—without compromising outdoor space for active recreation.

The result is a vibrant, space-efficient recreational hub that brings people together through leisure, sport, and relaxation.
