Luxurious 1960s Residence With Elaborate Landscaping Expanded with Minimal Site Disruption

Situated on nearly a hectare in Cantonments, Accra, the distinguished existing 1960s-era four-bedroom home originally featured a spacious outhouse with garage, a later-added swimming pool, and a football pitch in regular use.

Our client requested a substantial expansion of the main house to create generous, light-filled interiors while leaving the pitch and existing landscaping largely unaltered. Collaborating closely with the client, we designed a tasteful addition that respects the home’s classic character and conservatively refines its exterior. The result is an elegant, significantly enlarged residence that seamlessly integrates modern living spaces within the property’s cherished recreational setting complete with landscaping.
